thick thick CHALLAH FRENCH TOAST for the carpenter crew this morning🙌🏻🍞☺️i grew up with chinese food and the movies on christmas day. low key and in our pajamas all day with home alone 2 on at some point💯now with ezra here we’re keeping low key christmas day traditions going but adding this challah french toast to the mix because it is 🔥🔥🔥 here’s what i used + did: •5 THICK slices of challah bread (store bought) •2 pasture-raised eggs •1 cup nut milk (any milk works) •lots of cinnamon •pasture-raised butter for greasing + maple syrup for serving whisk together eggs, milk and cinnamon then dip each slice of challah into mixture and cook on a skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes on each side. i like to keep them in the oven at 200 degrees on a baking sheet until all of them are done so they’re warm👌🏻i topped with maple syrup and a little extra coconut sugar mixed with cinnamon and it turned out soooooo good! happy happy holidays everyone💛#rachleats #challah #challahfrenchtoast #easybreakfast
